View all managed Meta Quest devices in Admin Centre

Device Insights

In the Device Insights section at the top of the page, you can view the following key metrics:

  • Monthly Active Devices: Displays the number of devices that have been powered on at least once in the past 28 days. This count excludes devices managed by third-party device managers. By clicking View Device Reports, you can explore trends such as device usage over time.

  • Requires Update: Shows the number of devices with pending OS updates. This does not include unknown devices. Clicking Update Policy allows you to review and modify OS update policies across all devices in your organisation.

  • Untrusted Devices: Indicates the number of devices violating at least one security rule. By selecting View Devices, you can dive into detailed security alerts.

  • Wipe Failed: Displays the count of devices where a wipe attempt has failed. You can retry the wipe process by clicking Retry Wipe.

Additionally, you can click View All Insights to see all recent insights.

Managed Devices

In the Managed Devices section, you can filter and search for devices using criteria such as device group, device owner, and system update status. You can toggle between the All, Setup Complete, and Ready for Setup tabs, and click the download icon to export the device list.

When a device is enrolled in Meta Quest for Business by you or a reseller, it will appear in the Ready for Setup tab. The transition to Setup Complete depends on the mode the device is set up in:

  • Individual Mode: The device moves to Setup Complete when a user logs in with a managed Meta account from your organisation for the first time.

  • Shared Mode: The device appears in Setup Complete once an admin logs in with their managed Meta account to apply Shared Mode. After Shared Mode is applied, the admin’s managed Meta account is removed from the device.

By default, any Meta Quest device, including those not purchased by your organisation, will be added to your organisation's Admin Centre if enrolled using a managed Meta account created in your Admin Centre. To change this setting, you can enable Enrolment Lock.

To rename a device, click the options icon next to it, select Edit Device Name, enter the new name, and click Confirm.
