Comfort Comparisons
When it comes to VR headsets, you need to be comfortable when it comes to wearing the device and Meta took this into consideration when creating their newest device. The Meta Quest 3 is a much slimmer device in comparison to the Meta Quest 2, however, there is very little change in the weight of each headset.
The Meta Quest 3 also comes with a new strap design, making it easier to perfect the fit of both the strap and device when on your head.

Controller Changes
Meta have made a few changes to the overall design and performance of the Meta Quest 3 controllers. Intended to provide more comfort and ease of use, the updated controller is a hybrid using computer vision and machine learning tracking.
They've also been designed with TruTouch variable haptics, compared to the basic haptics of the Meta Quest 2 controllers.
Updated Features
As expected, the Meta Quest 3 device launched with updated features to make it stand out from the crowd. For starters, the full-colour passthrough is much better than what the Meta Quest 2 had to offer. This upgraded element enables users to have a clear, high-quality view making the overall experience more enjoyable.
With the Meta Quest 3 device being fully mixed-reality, it changes the whole dynamic. This opens you up to more of an enhanced interactive experience.
Unlimited App & Gaming Access
With the Meta Quest 3 comes access to a number of new apps and games that are exclusive to the mixed-reality device.
It's worth noting that all apps and games available to use on the Meta Quest 2 are still accessible with the Quest 3, however, you won't be able to use some of the newer releases with the older headset.

When it comes to pricing, the Meta Quest 3 comes out higher and will set you back around £479.
