Simply Video

SimplyVideo

The focus of re-engineering has for the last 5 months been on Expand Reality to boost Simply video sales by selling subscriptions with smart glasses, as an enabler.

There are actually five product lines and routes to market that need explaining:

  • The SimplyVideo subscription - sold with smart glasses
  • The Simply Video - SDK - targeted at Smart glasses manufacturers
  • The Simplyvideo subscription - sold via resellers
  • The Microsoft MESH - Town halls / training centres - new
  • The Golden Thai Ai bot & SaaS product

SimplyVideo Pipeline

SimplyVideo Re-positioning to increase hardware attachment rates

We have created the product ladder for SimplyVideo as an enabler to scale productivity, reduce travel costs and carbon footprint.

The first two images explain how it does that

Optimise Smart Glasses

This product ladder explains the problems SimplyVideo solve

1. By using SimplyVideo to connect remote expert use cases - you avoid disabling the voice commands

  • This ensures your smart glasses pilot session / testing is effective and doesn't fail

2. By using Simply Video to join a Teams or Google Meet call - you join as a participant which means the remote experts can still share media files

  • Again this enables your remote expert, trainer, inspector, teacher to collaborate effectively
These two pitfalls are the reasons many smart glasses pilots fail - we ensure that the smart glass handsfree practical use is preserved and the collaboration tools in corporates do not disable, the remote expert/teacher/inspector/trainer/colleague being able to share files

  • The economies are simple, a Simply Video subscription versus lost productivity gains and no travel costs savings
  • In a recent Case Study Probo Medical, that is installs advanced Medical equipment and trains users to work the machines, deployed 6 Vuzix M400's with Simply Video - cost $12,000. They started saving 50% of the annual $80,000 travel and hotel budget instantly.
  • And trained customers twice as fast as they used to do with a centralised video training suite.
  • As John the evangelist at Probo Medical said, the centralised suite scenario was a bit like following someone on a journey you never rember the route.
  • Whereas guiding the how to use the machine, they learn quickly, gain confidence and we have to do less refresher training.

Simple messaging

  • This new messaging resonates with users now we can scale it into the four virtual reality groups in LinkedIn with 75,611 members

Smart Glasses Business Impact (1)

The young industry trips over these issues continually causing "pilot purgatory"

To overcome this we have started to offer £100 an hour Pilot consultancy, for free, to enable pilot users to:

  • Succeed with their pilot
  • Secure the Return on investment numbers and productivity gain statistics that lead to scale/fleet orders
  • Plus we have created tools to identify stakeholders involved in the sign off process and educate them

Media Streaming

Stage 3 Simplyvideo - Ai access in smart glasses

There are two principle streams here

  • Company data that is held in Software systems Ingested into a database and then the data served as decision making, review or dashboards
  • Project data like building works where the software systems APi's are used to extract data to present to web, mobile or smart glasses
  • (the latter being CCai type use cases see separate Investor panel for CCAi product ladder and MVP's)
Smart Glasses + AI

This video shows how we can see data with Augmented Reality tools.

That data can be aggregated via an AI tool from many different internal systems or external software with APi's

For us it unlocks the value often held in siloed departments or data storage and provides instant insights.

We see this as a very simple use case where "the operating board review company performance daily or in more formal reviews.

Imagine the use consultants or M&A teams could apply to it.

Probably why Accenture bought 65,000 Meta Quest 3's this year!

Stage 4 - is where the smart glass user connects to corporate collaboration tools - as common business practice.

This level unlocks multiple benefits to every audience however the education that smart glasses are a practical way of "seeing what I see" remotely is huge, especially for C-suite or Sign off authorities.

Whether the use cases are consulting Peer groups, colleagues, bing in experts for first or second level opinion, or expanding a knowledge base or library internally capturing 1st hand video images or experience insights, the impact of smart glasses and instantly scaling to all these audiences is huge. Stage 5 SimplyVideo Mesh

This is very hard to imagine and the video beneath does not do it justice.

However our internal tech team have created three MESH town hall Environments , one for investors which will give you greater insight into seven areas to view at your leisure or join us for a guided walk through.

We see these as 3D immersive areas where you can learn, interact, get inducted , train, review performance in a way that is truly engaging.

Engagement is a big issue for the Hybrid Workplace of today as it is for Education with Higher Education playing catch up to the 3D tools most students are familiar with for gaming. The Enterprise market will now overtake gaming by 2027 if you believe industry analysts.

Mesh is delivered internally now by our team.

Watch the video below to get a flavour of a Mesh meeting area.
