What is Vuzix Control and Connect?
It is an upgrade to Vuzix Remote Assist, a software subscription that enables you to:
- Connect to Microsoft Teams and Google Meet corporate collaboration tools.
- Retain Voice Command hands free practicality when connecting to Microsoft Teams and Google Meet.
- Retain File Sharing in Microsoft Teams and Google Meet
- These two features have thwarted effective Smart Glasses deployments for Vuzix customers, until now.

- Low bandwidth performance for field work
- 1080p resolution ideal for Remote expert, remote inspection use cases.

- Ensures you DO NOT disable the Collaboration tools file sharing capabilities.

How does Vuzix Control and Connect work?
It connects the smart glasses wearer to Microsoft Teams and Google Meet as a participant.
That sounds simple, how does that aid smart glasses deployments?
- If you connect using Microsoft Teams or Google Meets Media Stream (aka File Sharing link)
- You disable the very nature of the Vuzix smart glasses practicality, hands free voice commands to zoom in, out, use the torch light APP.
- You also prevent scaling the Smart Glasses and every Remote Expert use case be it remote trainer, remote teacher, remote inspection, remote triage.
- You also damage the core functionality of the smart glasses "see what I see"
- Just because you used the wrong way to connect to the smart glasses.

Vuzix Control and Connect + Chat GPT3.5
Vuzix Smart Glass users can now get Chat GPT 3.5 answers delivered directly to their smart glasses.
This lifts guidance of workers to another level:-
- Decoupling the remote expert , now 1st stage with Chat GPT 3.5
- Decoupling the time delay as the answers are instant
The Next Logical Stage is to add Ai to the smart glass wearer that has:
- Company specific data it can retrieve.
- Or Project Specific data it can retrieve.

- The Tool is now being developed to ingest Data from other Construction Industry Suppliers.
So the answer for the Construction Industry is months away.
